Building maintenance work often carries inherent
dangers. To safeguard our potential client group all our operatives
are fully trained on the following issues prior to commencing
any work:
1. Does the work you are about to perform present
a risk to you, our client or the general
public?
2. Should you require any safety barriers?
3. Have you given any thoughts about fire risk?
4. Does the work require any heavy lifting or handling?
5. Should the work cause a risk of tripping, slipping or falling?
6. Should the work require any special ventilation for extraction?
7. Does the work involve hazardous materials?
8. Does the work affect any existing safety equipment of the property,
i.e. smoke alarm, fire alarm, intruder alarm?
9. Who should be commissioning electrical & gas installation
work? Are you a qualified electrician or Corgi registered person?10.
Does the work require ladders or scaffolding and would they cause
any hazard?
11. Does the work require displaying warning signs specifying
the danger?
12. Who should dispose away waste materials from the site?
